Contact David B. SwitalskiDavid B. Switalski is a sole practitioner concentrating in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, estate planning and probate, and general civil litigation. He handles cases throughout North Florida and the Panhandle, but practices mostly in Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson, and Wakulla Counties.

As a trial advocate, David fights for the victims of negligence who have been seriously injured or killed. He fights for those who have been sexually harassed in the workplace and discriminated against because of their race, gender, or age. He also represents those who have had their constitutional and other rights violated by government entities.

As a counselor of the law, David Switalski advises individuals how to best plan for the end of life through the drafting of wills and trusts, the establishment of guardianships, and the administration of probate.

As a sole practitioner, David Switalski will handle your case personally from beginning to end, and provide you with the tools to help you make the legal decisions that are in your best interest.

David B. Switalski has been practicing law since 1993. He began by representing cities and counties throughout North Florida and the Panhandle in lawsuits filed against them. Most of the cases involved personal injury and civil rights issues such as discrimination, false arrest, and excessive use of force. In 2003, Mr. Switalski shifted his practice to represent mainly individuals who had suffered serious bodily injuries and even death because of the negligence of others. In 2009 after practicing in law firms for 16 years, David opened his own law office. Throughout his career, David has provided estate planning advice to clients and administered their estates upon death.

David Switalski is licensed to practice in all state courts of Florida, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta, and the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. David is also a member of the Florida Bar and the Florida Justice Association, which is an organization that promotes the administration of justice for the public good, diligently works to promote public safety and welfare, and upholds the honor and dignity of the profession of law.

David was born in Tampa, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Florida. He received his law degree with honors in 1993 from Florida State University. David and his wife, Kim, have been married since 1992 and have two children.
